Racing for a Great Cause!
The Shootout has a long history at the Lake of the Ozarks. It started in 1988 with locals participating to see who had the fastest boat. The race got bigger and bigger over the years and proceeds helped to support the Lake Area Fire Department. The roots of the Shootout was always to support local charities in the Lake Area. Today, The Shootout continues to raise money for local charities in the area. This year, the Shootout will continue to support the local Fire Departments and 28 charities!
