How Do You Plan to Protect Your Boat After Summer?

Image
While Summer is still in full swing, it is nearing an end with Labor Day Weekend quickly approaching. Do you have a plan for your boat winterization? It's never to early to start making plans. Have you considered installing a boat lift at the Lake of the Ozarks to winter your boat? A boat lift will protect your boat from being in the water all winter and you won't have to worry about storing it anywhere but right at your dock. Not convinced this is the best solution? This can cause your paint to come off. Not only will this look bad, after the paint comes off your boat it will be more sus…

Consider these tips to keep you, your family, and friends safe at your dock!

Routinely Check Your Lift Cables  You should check your boat lift cables frequently to ensure that no wires are exposed. Exposed wires can be dangerous to anyone that is nearby. Make sure that you check for weak spots, and that they are clean. Dirt on your cables can cause your cables to become weak which means they could break and injure nearby swimmers or boaters.
